TODAY'S RHEMA Isaiah 58:11 "The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail."
Have you made resolutions for the New Year, 2018? In the last days of the year, we often make a list or at least we imagine what we want to achieve in the year ahead. Many of us have long lists in terms of family, career and church's service. However, how often do we feel worried about our future while writing it? We wonder: "Is my list in accordance with the will of God? How do I achieve this? Will God guide me? And perhaps, you have many other questions.
If you have such thoughts, believe that God will guide you as He guided both the Magi from the East to find Jesus and the Israelites in passing through the wilderness. God, Himself, went before them in a pillar of cloud by day to protect them from heat and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light. God will also lead us in incredible ways beyond our understanding.
Do not limit the wonder of God's work, because His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Do not think that God doesn't guide you just because you can't feel it. More Often than not, God speaks to us but we don't listen because our spiritual ears and heart are blocked by anxiety and cares of life. Let's renew our faith this New Year. Believe that the guidance of God will always be there for us. Our part is to open our heart and spiritual ears widely. Do not harden your heart, when we soften and open our heart to Him, we will feel and experience the wonder of God's guidance that never fails.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, In welcoming this NEW YEAR, believe that GOD HAS INCREDIBLE WAYS to GUIDE you.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Dear God, thank You for Your wonderful guidance in my life. Have mercy on me if I often limit Your powerful guidance with my limited understanding. I believe that Your help neither comes late nor fails. I'm willing to learn to open my heart and spiritual ears so that I can listen to Your voice and will in my life more than before. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
