TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Luke 1:26-38
TODAY'S RHEMA Luke 1:38 "I am the Lord's servant" Mary answered. "May your word to me be fulfilled." Then the angel left her.
Behind the Christmas story about the birth of our Lord Jesus, we can also learn about something that is so important. When Mary received the news from the angel Gabriel that she would conceive and give birth to baby Jesus, she realized all the risks she had to bear in doing that. But she still showed obedience and faith to the Lord. And even though the Lord enabled her in bearing everything, Mary still had to receive insults from the society because of the pregnancy that happened before her marriage. Even worse, her fiancee, Joseph, also planned to abandon her for good. Mary also faced a great danger in her life, as in those times, a woman who was convicted of adultery should be stoned to death. During that trial, Mary was probably also sad, but she surrendered fully and opened her heart widely so God could fully intervene in her life. And the power of God eventually showed up in Mary's life. The angel finally came to Joseph in a dream and instructed him to accept Mary as a wife. Finally, Mary did not lose her marriage and her future. Her good name was also intact. The Lord came to defend Mary and it is a remarkable point in the story.
How many of us dare to stand in faith like Mary? Indeed, God's plan is sometimes difficult to be reasoned. So often everything seems to be illogical and we may become very doubtful in doing it.
But, when we learn to be obedient and to surrender to God's plan, the miraculous spiritual intervention will happen in our life. God will intervene, and He will not stay idle. Have faith, that nothing is impossible for the Lord and all the works of His hands are tremendously perfect in themselves. God's intervention will bring us to have a great life journey and to experience many miracles. All things that He does always bring great blessings, great healings and great miracles in our lives. That is why we should not become stubborn in our own thoughts and actions, but let us open the doors of our hearts and let the Lord comes in and leads our lives.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, thank You for working so amazingly in my life during all these moments. Forgive me if I often do not realize Your miraculous intervention and often think that it is my own strength that does all. Give me Your wisdom, o Lord, so we can know Your plans, and strengthen my faith to fully surrender only to You. In the Name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
