TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Matthew 7:7-11
TODAY'S RHEMA Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Waiting on God shouldn't be done passively. Many of us tend to imagine that waiting on God's promise is like sitting in a hospital waiting room and wait for our names to be called. We can only hope that the doctor will examine the other patients quickly, or else we have to wait even longer. We have to realize that waiting on God's promise isn't like that. We aren't in the waiting room, and our God is unlike an earthly doctor who can only deal with one patient at a time. When we haven't yet received the fulfilment of God's promises it isn't because God is too busy caring for others and postpone working on the promises He gave us because God's word has clearly stated that "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." However, the birth of Jesus will remain as a mere story if we choose not to believe in Him. God's promise means nothing if we do not do what He wants us to do. Believe in Him, God is a good Father, He knows what we need. He provides us with everything that we can imagine, even more than we imagine. There is one thing that we must do, we must take action. If we want to enter a room, we must knock the door so that someone can open the door for us. If we don't knock, no one knows that we stand behind the door and wait for the door to open. When we take action we will find God's promise. Keep moving forward in faith!
