TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Joshua 23:6-16
TODAY'S RHEMA Joshua 23:14b "Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed."
A newlywed couple was on a house hunt. They met many property agents with each of their tantalizing bonuses. However, after they had agreed to purchase the property, the agent failed to fulfill what they promised earlier. This kind of occurrence proves that man made promises aren't always true. Often times we don't get what we are promised. We are asked to do certain things in order to receive the promise but even though we did just like we were asked to, we sometimes don't get exactly like it is promised.
Man tends to easily make unaccountable promises. To rely on man's promises will usually lead to disappointment but that is not the case with God, He will do as He promised, never did He give us anything less than what is He promised. His promises never come with expiry dates. What He says, He will do. Just like when He promised mankind a Savior, He sent His begotten Son to us. The birth of Jesus is absolute proof that His promises will be done as it is perfectly.
If it appears you can't see the fulfillment of God's promises just yet, don't be discouraged, don't be disappointed, don't doubt even for a minute, because He is the God of His Words, His promises are yes and amen in Christ! When we receive His promises, we receive it in faith believing that it will manifest for all to see. Hold on tight to the promises of God and put your hope solely in Him. God bless
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, GOD'S RELIABILITY is different from MAN'S RELIABILITY. You can rely on His promises to be FULFILLED PERFECTLY 100%.
APPLICATIONS 1. Are there any promises of God that you are still waiting for? Have those promises been fulfilled in your very life? 2. Do you believe that God will perfect all His promises? Why? 3. What is your effort to be faithful at all times and to be patient in waiting for God's deliverance in your life?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Thank You, God, for Your promises. Have mercy on me, Good Father, when I am doubting You. Please help me to be patient and faithful in waiting for the fulfillment of that promise. Because I believe You will never forget nor fail to keep Your promises. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
