TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Hebrews 13:5-16
TODAY'S RHEMA Hebrews 13:5b "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
The God we worship is not One to abandon His people. He is a God who always guides His children, moreover, His guidance is specific and detailed. He does all of this only because He loves us so much.
When God wanted to destroy the earth with a flood, He instructed Noah to make an ark. He didn't only instruct, God also guided Noah in every single detail of the preparation and what to do. Starting from the kind of wood, the shape, the size, down to how to make the ark. Looking at how detailed God's guidance to Noah was, does it mean that God had nothing else to do than care about those little details? Wasn't it enough if God just ordered Noah to make an ark and then let Noah make it using his own creativity?
As the Lord of all, He knows the universe needs Him. But God does not and never leaves His people alone hence His guidance to His people. Not only in seemingly big things, but also in every little thing. Today, God's guidance comes in many different ways in our lives. It might be in choosing the right job, the right partner, and the right business or how to grow a cell group, ministry, and whatever.
Just like Noah who was saved from destruction from the flood because He followed God's guidance when we follow God's guidance, we will receive salvation, relief, freedom, victory, and breakthrough. Make a commitment now to believe that God will never leave you alone. We are always able to experience Him deeper through His guidance.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Your God IS NOT One TO LEAVE or ABANDON His own, but He is a GOD WHO LOVES TO GUIDE His people.
APPLICATIONS 1. Do you realize that God shows His deep love through His guidance in your life? 2. Have you ever received God's divine guidance in your life? 3. What was your response to God's amazing guidance when it was revealed to you?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Good Father, thank you for always being with me. I want to keep following your guidance, so I will always feel Your love. In the name of Jesus. Amen."
