Like dry soil longing for rain, how big Bella's longing to have a deeper experience with God was. Since Tabernacle of David began to be held every Tuesday night at GBI Keluarga Allah Jakarta, she really wanted to join. But what hesitate her is that she works and lives in Cikarang. It takes at least three to four hours from Cikarang to Jakarta. It is certain that the Tabernacle of David will be over at time she arrived. Even so, she never lost the longing of her heart. In fact, when Pastor Jonatan Setiawan announced that starting in October 2018, the Tabernacle of David would be held every day, her heart longing was just getting deeper and intense. She even spoke from her heart to God that she really wanted to join.
The day after, an answer to her heart longing came. In Sudden she was contacted by someone she knows and being offered a job in Jakarta. Even though she never sent any application letter. Long story short, finally Bella can go for Tabernacle of David whenever she wants. Even more, God blessed her with a salary that beyond her expectations and also a job promotion that never arose in her heart. All God provides for her (1 Cor. 2: 9).
Yes, when we come to the Tabernacle of David, we also bring our hearts. Even more from our physical presence, what God looks forward is a heart filled with longing for Him. A heart that always wants to draw closer to Him. A heart that wants to love Him more and more. A heart fully open to experience Him. Because when our hearts are filled with first love with God, God will bring us into the dimension of His love, even deeper. We will also experience the fulfillment of His promises and we can enjoy the blessings that God has long wanted to bestow in our lives. At that time, we will experience for ourselves how good, how great, and the depth of God's love for us. Beautiful fellowship with God is no longer just an imagination, but a real experience in every single day. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Come to the Tabernacle of David with THE RIGHT ATTITUDE and GREAT LONGING OF HEART, then we will surely experience a NEW CHAPTER OF INTIMACY with God. APPLICATIONS 1.
