TODAY'S RHEMA
Hebrews 13:16 "But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

Ivy's mom always packed her with extra in everything. She packed lunch and some extra for Ivy to share with her friends. She packed her stationaries and some extra in case her friends need any of them. A sweet 5 years Ivy always gladly share with her friends whatever she has because that what her mother taught her. That is a very simple example of doing good deeds.

We live in a diverse society be it in school, workplace, or place of living. Not everyone in our surrounding has the same faith and belief, some of them may a believer some may not. Nevertheless, we don't have to live the same as they do. Wherever we are, we ought to be the salt and the light of the world. Salt that gives flavor and light that shine out in the darkness. Now the question is, how to be the salt and the light to the world?

Those who live their lives in the Spirit will produce the fruit of the spirit in their lives. One of them is to produce goodness that shines inside out. Goodness could be in the form of good speech, good behavior, and good thought born in good attitude. When we are able to do that, we will not only bring a good impact to the surrounding but also will bring them in the knowledge of Christ.

REFLECTION
Saudara Terkasih, The best way to BE SALT AND LIGHT is by DOING GOOD DEEDS.

2. What hinders you from doing good deeds to others?
3. What commitment can you make so that you can do good deeds to your surrounding?

TODAY'S PRAYER
"Lord Jesus, teach me to follow the example that You have set, which is to become salt and light of the world. Lead me to be able to do good deeds to many people that our lives could give impact to them. in the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
