When You Are Faithless, God Remains Faithful Keluarga Allah Daily Devotional November 16, 2017
TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Romans 3: 1-26
TODAY'S RHEMA Romans 3: 3-4a "What if some were unfaithful? Will their faithfulness nullify God's faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar."
Betrayal is one of the most painful things for everyone. The closer our relationship with someone, the more we love and trust them, the deeper the scar will be when betrayal is happening. It seems to be reasonable for us to cut off any form of communication with one who hurt or betray us or maybe some of us think of getting revenge. However, when we look into the Bible in the book of Hosea we will see what the book of Hosea trying to tell us which is; getting revenge or cut off any form of communication whatsoever with those who hurt us or betray us isn't the will of God.
The book Hosea tells a story about Hosea who married Gomer the prostitutes. It tells the story where Gomer came back to her old life as a prostitute though Hosea has already accepted her just the way she is including dark past. Of course, Hosea was broken hearted but he took the right decision when she was falling into the pit of the darkness once more which was to take her up again. What Hosea had done portrayed God's faithfulness to His churches, includes us. This picture the faithfulness of God to His people. Speaking of His people, it includes us who many times has disappointed God. He took initiative to show His love by forgiving and saving us all from our own sin. By sending Jesus to die on the cross, God the Father demonstrates His love and paid us in full and take us as His own.
We have tasted the sweetness of God's faithfulness and we ought to reflect out the same faithfulness through our lives. We may say we can't do it but God will surely help us out because the seed of faithfulness instilled in us since the beginning of creation. When we "water' and let the seed to grow and demonstrate the same faithfulness to those we so-called unworthily, God will use our lives as His instrument to bring glory to Him wherever we are. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Let us be faithful just like God who has been faithful though we are faithless.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Father, thank You for your undependable faithfulness. I want to learn to have such kind of faithfulness, to still be faithful though others aren't. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
