TODAY'S RHEMA Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."
Hachiko was an Akita dog that belonged to a professor who worked in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo. Every day, he always accompanied his master, Professor Hidesaburo Ueno, to the train station. In the evening, Hachiko came to the same place to meet him. But on 21st of May 1925, while the Professor was giving lecturer, he died because of suffering a cerebral hemorrhage and he never returned to the train station. Unbeknownst to Hachiko, he was waiting for his master at the train station for 10 years.
The story of Hachiko was widely known since it was written in the newspaper. Not only that. People built a statue of Hachiko at Shibuya Station. He has taught about love and sincere faithfulness. He is known as 'faithful dog Hachiko'.
Faithfulness is one of the important things needed in a relationship; whether it is a relationship between husband and wife, you and friends, workmates or ministry workers. We must remain faithful although they are not. Jesus our Lord is our role model. He shows His faithfulness by always being on our side and waiting for us to come to Him. On the contrary, we are always busy with our works. He always loves us even though we love to do worldly pleasures. If we long revival to happen in our lives, produce the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. One of the ways is being faithful, to be committed to always be with our spouse, to be planted in the local church, and to give the best in our company. Always show true faithfulness from a sincere heart. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, TRUE FAITHFULNESS is A COMMITMENT borne from A SINCERE LOVING HEART.
