TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Galatians 6:1-10
TODAY'S RHEMA Galatians 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
In a small town, there lived a girl and her mother who always taught her to keep doing good to others regardless of the situation. One day, there was a knock on the door, she opened and saw a boy looking at her doubtfully asking for water to drink. She then went into the kitchen and returned with a cup of milk instead. He drank the milk bottom up because he was extremely thirsty. The boy then asked how much the cup of milk cost but she just smiled and said he didn't have to pay, it was free of charge.
Twenty years later, the girl was diagnosed with a chronic disease. The doctors in her town had given up on her. They advised her to consult a specialist in a bigger city. She took the advice and went to the city close to her town. There, she received several treatments and underwent surgery. When she got better and was about to be discharged from the hospital, she was worried about the hospital bill. She was afraid she couldn't afford to settle the bill. However, she was surprised when she received the invoice accompanied by a note: "Paid in full with one glass of milk."
God's promises are yes and amen. You reap what you sow, if you do good, the goodness will come back to you and even more because God provides more than what you've sown. As written in Galatians 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Never stop doing good.
There will always come times when we will be faced with situations that make it hard for us to do good. However, as children of God, created in His image, we should keep doing good. Be the salt and light of the world because when we exercise to be so, then God's name is glorified and people are drawn to Him. Let revival happen in your life and surrounding. God bless you.
