TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Proverbs 20:5-9
TODAY'S RHEMA Proverbs 20:6 "Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?"
In these last days, it seems that faithfulness is not something worthy of having. There may be plenty of good people, but not much that is faithful. Most people think that it is all about their own happiness and their benefit. If we are being mistreated we may get angry or decide to take revenge to those who mistreat us. Even worse, we might cut off any sort of relationship with them. How many of us will remain faithful to those who mistreat us? Perhaps not many will do that.
Jesus' sacrifice on the cross is the proof of the greatest act of faithfulness in history. Although He was neglected, mocked, and plotted death against, Jesus remained faithful to the Father's mission to save mankind. Because of his great sincere love, He was willing to endure the sufferings, for those who were unfaithful. This faithfulness is the one that can touch our hearts that we may become faithful servants whose desire is to love Him back.
When we are born again in Christ and get to know Him more, our old self is replaced to such of Christ. The seed of faithfulness is in us, that we may bear the fruit of the Spirit, the faithfulness, as it is valuable in God's sight. He looks for the faithful, as they can be used for His glorious deeds. Through their faithfulness, they can bring a great revival and many souls to God. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Faithfulness is VALUABLE IN GOD'S SIGHT, therefore God IS LOOKING FOR FAITHFUL people.
APPLICATION 1. Check yourself, have you been faithful, like the Father who is faithful? 2. Why does God look for those who are faithful? 3. How can you be faithful?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Father, thank you for teaching me about faithfulness. Your great faithfulness has saved and changed my life. I want to be faithful like You are faithful. Enable me to remain faithful, as the power of your faithfulness will bring those who are lost back to You. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
