TODAY'S RHEMA 1 Corinthians 13:4-5"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong."
Most people must have known who Nick Vujicic is. He is a famous Christian motivator who was born without hands and legs. People, in general, will see that Nick has so many physical flaws but it wasn't the case for Kanae Miyahara. On her first sight of Nick, while speaking at a seminar, she knew that Nick was to be her life partner. Nick's kindness and sincere heart could cover his physical weakness so that she was able to see the whole person of Nick. In short, they married after a year of dating. Now, they have built a happy family with 2 healthy children.
No one was born perfect with no flaw whatsoever. God created us with strengths and weaknesses in order for us to live in togetherness, to complement each other without having to demand kindness from others. That is why we can only accept others strengths and weaknesses with sincerity. Proverbs 10:12 states that hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers all wrongs.
True love, Agape, is only found in Christ. If we want to have such kind of love as the Father loves us, we have to remain in Him so we can bear the spiritual fruit of faithfulness. By committing to be faithful to loving others in Christ and accepting people as they are, there will be a unity which leads to great revival from God. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, The sign of being FAITHFULNESS as a result of SINCERE LOVE is when you could ACCEPT OTHERS STRENGTHS and WEAKNESSES.
APPLICATION 1. Have you sincerely accepted others strengths and weaknesses? 2. Why do we need to have a steadfast love of the Heavenly Father? 3. In your view, how can the steadfast love of God bring about revival?
TODAY'S PRAYER "God, give me love that comes from You alone so that I can accept the strengths and weaknesses of people around me. Use me as Your tool to spread Your love so great revival will happen and Your name be glorified through my life. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen."
