How do you feel when you are asked to sing, but at that time you feel sad and depressed? Undoubtedly it is very tough and that is exactly what Muhammad Subhan, particularly known as Bezaleel Subhan felt. Doctor diagnosed his firstborn, Kairos, suffered leukemia type ALL. Subhan and his wife were brokenhearted. However, he felt that God wanted him to give thank and praise Him. " Do you want to sing for me, Subhan?" asked God audibly. Despite of his brokenness, he managed to grab his wife's hand to sing loudly in Kairos' treatment room.
It was almost four and a half months Kairos had undergone the treatment, Subhan kept singing even though his heart was crying and felt helpless. Marvelously, Kairos loved to dance and asked the nurses to join him disregard his illness. Until one day, Kairos refused the chemotherapy and told his father that he had been healed. Doctor held marrow liquid examination and declared the cancer virus just left about 1%. Unsure, doctor conducted another examination and the result was the same. Cancer virus was no longer found in Kairos' body. He had totally recovered by God's miracle.
There is great power in praise and worship, as well as thankfulness. King David realized this fact, thus he chosen the best people from Sons of Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman that well-known for their expertise in praise and worship. Then they were become the worshippers in Daivd's Tent. When you lift your thanksgiving and prophetic praises, at the same time you have glorified him. No matter how hard your life is, you must place God at your very first place. This is exactly the key to touch God's heart. When God is pleased, there is nothing could detain His power upon your lives. Praise Him wholeheartedly, dance, and sing with thanksgiving, and witness the same power which David had seen before. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Lift your praise and thanksgiving as prophetic movement, hence your lives will be fulfilled with His power. APPLICATION 1. In your opinion, what are the things that could please God ? 2. Think, what are the things which make you feel grateful to Him? 3. What are the burdens that preclude you to praise Him freely? TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, we love you more than anything. You have been so good to us, and whatever happened in our live is based on Your will. Thank you God, we would like to praise and glorify Your name as long as we live. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen. "
