TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalm 30:1-13
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 30:5b "Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning."
As long as we live, there will always be obstacles and problems we encounter. Moreover, life's problems often come altogether at once to knock us down forever. The story told here will give a clear example about it. When Rina was promoted to become Head of Design division at the place where she worked, she had to face her team's rejection because she was the only woman in the division. Once, there was a mistake made in a project about packaging that they handled. The Marketing Manager tried to defend the design team who previously took the blame, but later on their boss became angry because of that. The design division had to pay for the loss they caused, which probably reached more than ten or even twenty millions rupiahs. With a broken heart, Rina came to the Lord and begged for His help in solving this matter. Unexpectedly, the following day, the client who ordered the packaging service came to the office. When the client oversaw the mistake, he was not disappointed but took it very lightly. He offered a simple solution to cover the mistake in printing using just a sticker. In the following days, as this problem was solved smoothly, Rina's subordinates were also changed by God to be able to accept her as the head of the division, and their output, slowly but sure became better in quality and in service, as the Lord had blessed their works.
You might find yourselves in similar circumstances right now where things seem to be unsolvable. You are trying to overcome them using many ways, also by taking some shortcuts, but it seems that the problems were just worsened. Christmas had just passed, and the story about Mary who was about to be divorced from Joseph (because of her divine pregnancy) is still fresh in our mind (Matthew 1:18-25). And with that, we should remember, just the same thing that happened to Mary, can also happen to us. God will never abandon us. His help comes right on time.
Have faith, that God is still the same yesterday, today and in the future. He is still available to help us in facing our problems. When you surrender your every problem, He will then come down and do His miraculous works in your life. He will replace tears with shouts of joy, stumbling block to become a stepping stone, and challenges to become crowns. Let us use this season of Christmas to renew our faith commitment to the Lord. Allow God to intervene, and we can experience His miraculous hands helping us right on time.
