Proverbs 31:10-31
TODAY'S RHEMA Proverbs 31:10-11 "A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband ha full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value."
Due to his fatal mistake, Arie was fired from his office. For days he didn't' tell his wife about that. He had been hiding that for days because he was afraid of his wife's reaction and that she would divorce him. To do that, he came out of the house as he usually did. Like he was still working. But he was getting more nervous. Finally, he told his wife. But instead of being angry, she hugged him and told him to be patient.
Sometimes we think, because the husband is a patriarch, he must be the strongest one in the family. But, men are just men, they're only human. They can be confused and weak when they face problems or failures. It's not just in the family but also in work, ministry or community. It's where wife must know what her husband is going through. Because when they're facing troubles, the wife must remain strong and encourage her husband, motivating him and asking him to pray and surrender all his worries to God. That's how a wife can become a helper.
As a helper, the wife must be trustable. Besides having integrity and honesty, she also must be like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind with her husband. It's all needed so that wife can understand her husband better. As explained in the Proverbs, a wife of noble character is a good wife for her husband. Her presence can enhance her husband's honor and make him feel blessed. When a wife able to encourage her husband, he will reach his maximum potential. The Extraordinary transformation will happen in that family.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, as a helper wife has a role to encourage her husband.
