TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Psalm 34:1-23
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 34:14 "Turn from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it."
Mr. Tono and Mrs. Ida have just celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Their marriage life seemed to be in harmony and everyone's dream. They could maintain their marriage and also had successful children. But in fact, what was shown outside was completely different with what was happening inside; the harmony seen by the people was only a display. At home, they often quarreled. Mrs. Ida was thinking about leaving home, but she thought about her children and did not want to make them sad. So, she decided to stay quiet. By staying quiet, she realized that it could decrease the intensity of quarrels between her and her husband. On the other hand, it made the distance between them become wider and wider. She felt like a stranger to her husband. When she was sad and lost, her cell group leader reminded her to seek for God's wisdom for her marriage life. It was really hard for her to obey God's word about the ways to resolve her family problems. A month later, Mr. Tono began to change his attitude and apologized for what he had done. They tied their commitment again to be open and to put God first.
If you are facing many family problems, don't run away from your problems. Don't stay still or stay quiet. Do something to change your situation. Build an intimate relationship with God. Read God's word with the help of Keluarga Allah daily devotional and listen to Worship Audio from the church website. Be active in cell group and learn from God's Word on how to resolve conflicts in the family. Be obedient.
When you do what God wants you to do for your family, God will not only help you resolve your problems but also grow your faith amazingly. Through all the conflicts you face, you will grow in Jesus. Believe it. God will bring family recovery into your family. He will also bless your family to be a harmonious and happy family.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, learn to resolve conflict and not run away from it because God wants you to grow spiritually through your problems.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, You are wonderful and powerful of this universe. Praise Your name forever. Your grace and mercy are poured out for me forever. Please forgive me for ignoring Your kindness because I always focus only on my family's difficulties. Thank You for strengthening me always. I believe that Your kindness and mercy will never end in my life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
