TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Philippians 4:6-13
TODAY'S RHEMA Philippians 4:6 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"
After having a relationship for a couple of years, Emy and Johan decide to get married soon. However, Emy had a doubt on his future husband because of the bad habit that Johan has, which was smoking. Many times, Emy kept suggesting Johan quit smoking, she even threatened to stop the wedding preparation if Johan did not quit smoking. But still, Johan did not notice it. Emy felt that words were not enough, and then she took an action. She started to pray for him every day. Even though Johan hadn't stopped smoking yet, Emy kept being thankful because she believed that God was working in Johan's life. As the time went, John eventually quit smoking. After married, Emy asked him why he quit smoking. He said that recently when he smoked, the cigarette tasted very bitter. He tried other brands but all tasted the same. On that moment and on, he quit smoking.
Any moment in our lives is often decided by our thought and words. When we think about positive things, then the positive things will happen. On the other hand, when we think about negative things, then the negative things will happen. But, we often too focus to think positively until we forget to pray positively. As a Christian, we must not only have positive thinking but also say positive prayers.
Even though our condition is not good, keep being grateful in our prayers. Not to say positive things, we have to pray for our trouble we are facing positively. For example, we are hurt by someone; we have to pray positively for that person. We should not curse someone in our prayer. But raise a blissful and forgiving prayer. If we want our family to be transformed and be changed; think positively and pray positive things for our family always. So that, what we cannot do, will be done by God through our prayer. Let the Holy Spirit touches, softens and changes our family. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, do not only learn to always have positive thinking, but also learn to say a positive prayer to your family consistently.

TODAY'S PRAYER Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the family that you give to me, blesses and guides my family member. Teach us to always pray positively for my family consistently. In the name of Jesus Christ we prayed. Amen.
