TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Romans 12: 1- 8
TODAY'S RHEMA Romans 12: 4 – 5 "For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."
Once in a country, a soldier was given a command to carry a message for his troop in enemy's territory. This area was strictly guarded, it's poor for the soldier because his foot was shot. He's injured so he couldn't be able to walk. For a couple of times, he thought how to convey the message on time. He was looking around and his eyes pointed to the other soldier who was covering his eyes with a cloth. That soldier tried hard to move his body closer to his friend. When he made it, he said to his friend "You still have perfect feet but you can't see while I have perfect eyes but my feet are injured. Let us be together and support each other, thus we can reach into a hiding place safely. Then, we can convey this message so that they also save." In short, they supported and completed each other. At the end, they could save the other soldiers with a special message they carried.
It's a beautiful unity, isn't it? Both soldiers in the story above were able to place themselves with their strength and complete another weakness. They became a great team who accomplished their vision and mission.
The explanation above is the same as your role in family. In God's sight, no matter what your condition and role in your family, you have a special role that can't be replaced by others. Don't think about what you can't give but find what you can give then do it. You will find the true happiness because you become someone as God wants you to be by the completing the part you must be in. Just believe, you are amazing creation in God's sight! TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, thank You for a role You have given in my life. Teach me to live it more, be thankful and rely on You in assigning this role, God. In the name of Lord Jesus I pray. Amen."
