John 10:11-15
TODAY'S RHEMA John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Roger and Emily's marriage was filled with the happiness for 14 years till a tragedy hit them. Emily was diagnosed with breast cancer and she had passed through chemotherapy extensively, mastectomy and also another chemo. 3 years after heavy trials, her friends celebrated her healing and when they had gathered around, Emily told them "Doctor told me that most husbands cannot live with their sick wives but Roger was always by my side when I was struggling to fight my cancer." Someone asked her "Was that your worst crisis in your marriage?" with Smile, Emily told them "Of course! But what Roger did had made me secure spiritually and physically, indeed I am very flattered."
The role of husbands and fathers in the family is not only as a leader but also as a shepherd. Just like God who is a good example of being a shepherd and even He was willing to surrender Himself to be crucified, so as the husbands and fathers, you are supposed to protect entire family, build safe and joyful ambiance in your household.
Being Christian husbands requires sacrifice and willingness to pay the price. God given responsibility is not light, nevertheless, when we do the things that God set us to do, joy and peace from God cannot be compared with the sacrifice and hard work that we have done. Always guide our family to the perseverance and obedience of God. Be a good example in any circumstances and the heavenly atmosphere will come down to your family. Amen. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, As a SHEPERD, a husband also plays his role to give COMFORT SPIRITUALLY, MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord, as a husband, I want to be a good shepherd in my family; as You are a good shepherd to us. Please give me wisdom and ability to do the task as a husband. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen."
