TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Luke 8:5-15
TODAY'S RHEMA Luke 8:11 ""Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God."
Christianity can never be separated from the Word of God. Every time we go to church, there must be the Word of God that is delivered and become the underlying basis of the sermon. When we become a disciple, reading the Word of God is a must. Why is the Word of God hold an important role in Christianity? It is because when we want to experience a breakthrough in our lives, we have to first bear the Fruits of the Spirits in our life. The Fruits of the Spirits came from the Godly or Heavenly seeds, that is the Word that is sown in our hearts. Not just the Word, but the Word that is manifested by the Holy Spirit that turns to rhema. Every time we read, learn, and reflect the Word, we are like giving the best fertilizer on our soil, which will enhance the growth of the seeds to become plantations that finally bear Fruit of the Spirit. That is why, without the Word, there will be no Fruit of the Spirit.
The first Fruit of Spirit that will be shown to the surface is the change of character. People that used to have bad characters are just like the desert that is hindered by many, which God will turn into a garden that is full of fruits that are wanted by many. Rude people will transform into a gentle and full of love kind of people. The rebellious child will transform into an obedient and respectful of their parents. Angry wife will be submissive to her husband. The lazy student will become diligent and even turn into an achiever. As a result, these changes will slowly bring other changes in lives. The atmosphere in the family that used to be hot turns breezy just like in the forest that is full of trees. All the hard work that was as dry as the desert turns out great and produced much greater. The spiritual life that seems to be barren starts to bear fruits that saves lost souls.
The life that is filled with the Word and the Spirits will turn to become an active life. We will have a life that is moved to do something for God, in return for His love. Not only just moved, but longing and ready to fight. Through our lives that are transformed by the fruit of Spirit, restoration is made possible, our family will eventually repent, our friends know more about Jesus, and people in our surrounding will receive God's Grace and salvation to the Kingdom above. Moreover, great spiritual revival will happen.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, To be able to BEAR FRUITS OF THE SPIRITS, FULFILL YOURSELF WITH THE SPIRIT and THE WORD OF GOD.
APPLICATION 1. Have you had a specific time every day to read learn and reflect the Word of God? Why do you have to do it? 2. Are you bearing the fruit of the Spirit? Which fruit of the Spirit that God wants you to bear right now? 3. What would you for God for what He has done for you?
TODAY'S PRAYER "God, thank you for Your Word that has saved and changed my life. Let every heavenly seed that has been sown in my heart grow and become blessings for people surrounds us. I believe, God, a great spiritual revival will happen in my life. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
