TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalm 37:1-11
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 37:4 "Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."
In the year of 1996, Ginny Awuy found a lump as big as a red bean located on her left breast. She had only Rp 2,500,000,- and she planned to use it for her son's tuition and to prepare for the graduation. She then decided to hide her disease and to hope only in the Lord. A year later, her lump had become worse. Until one moment, blood even came out of it. She was then rushed to the hospital. The doctor stated that cancer had spread to her bones and her lungs. It was only a matter of time before she approached death. Given that fact, Ginny did not lose her hope and joy. During her medication, she always heard spiritual songs and also read spiritual books. When she read a testimony about healing miracle, she then prayed, "God, I know that You can heal me. Replace all my damaged organs with new ones." Several days later, she was again tested using USG and the doctor did not find any cancer cells within her body.
Many kinds of problems can fall on us like a storm. We can lose our money, loved ones, or our good health. But, whatever happens, continue to believe in Him and to have joy also. Do not be disappointed and be withdrawn from His presence, but seek His Face diligently. When we have an intimate relationship with Him and can experience the fullness of Holy Spirit, then He will not only pour out His everlasting joy, but He will also give His special words for us. These words will revive our faith so miracles can come in our life.
We can have an intimate relationship with Holy Spirit by listening to spiritual songs, reading the Bible, praying, listening to sermons or reading spiritual books. The church has provided us with many facilities to support our spiritual growth through El-Shaddai FM which broadcasts 24 hours a day, through ReKA/English daily devotionals which can be accessed every day through e-mail or WhatsApp, or Worship Audio, Bible Audio and live streaming which broadcasts the services in the church online. Starting from today, make God as your Source of Joy. Even though we have so many problems in our life, do not let go your intimate relationship with Holy Spirit. Have faith, and you shall experience revival and miracles to happen within your life. Lord Jesus blesses you.
