TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Numbers 6:22-27
TODAY'S RHEMA Numbers 6:24-26 24 "'"The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."'
There was a father who would like to teach his son on how to swim. His son was only four-years-old, one meter tall, and did not know how to swim at all. However, when the father brought him to swim in a 1 ½ meter deep pool, calmly, the son swam into the pool without any life vest. He believed that his father would not let him drown in that pool and that he would always hold his tiny little hand.
Just like our Father in Heaven. Sometimes, we were also brought into a "deeper pool" with Him. He wanted to teach us to swim by ourselves. But, how many of us were just too scared with any kind of negative thoughts and fear that comes from inside of us? Instead of focusing ourselves being held by "the strong Hand", we often focus ourselves on our limitations and searching for things that we think would guarantee our welfare and future. At the end, our lives were gripped by fear, so that we could not see and feel the blessings that God has already provided.
Realize that, no matter how deep "the pool or the ocean" is, we have God of everything. Only in Him, we will find the Heavenly peace that would reside in our heart and our thoughts (Phil 4:7). That's right, even if we are now "swimming in the middle of the ocean" that is full of big waves ready to hit, as long as we have the Heavenly peace in our heart, we will soon find new strength. Then, we will be able to face a lot of "the giants" with Him (Phil 4:13). This is Spiritual Fruits, the peace that is much more valuable than anything. When we have peace, it will always reflect when we go through difficult situations, and as a result, our life can be a living testimony for our surrounding. Therefore, our lives will be used by God to save many souls for Him, and in the end of the day, we will see revival happen wherever we are.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, HEAVENLY PEACE is BLESSING FROM GOD, MORE VALUABLE AND BEAUTIFUL than gold, silver, and gems.
APPLICATION 1. Is there heavenly peace in your life? 2. When you are forced to face a giant in your life, would you still be intimidated by the feeling of fear? 3. What can you do to drive out fears and replace it with Heavenly Peace?
TODAY'S PRAYER "God, please give me Your Heavenly Peace, so that I can be strengthened to face any giants that may come in my life. Please, let Your Heavenly Peace shine through my life, and my life can be used to draw many souls to You. Thank you, Father. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
