TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Hebrews 10:19-25
TODAY'S RHEMA Hebrews 10:25 "not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
Tyler was a student at Spokane Falls Community College. One morning when he was attending morning chapel, he saw one girl who led the worship and he fell for her. One of his friends adviced him that the every girl he fell for wouldn't be easy to get because she would only go for a man who live his life for God. For that reason, Tyler decided to join a ministry in the morning chapel and also join a cell group. Being in the same ministry, Tyler and the girl he fell for went along in the relationship well. However one day, something happened: the girl decided to leave him and that didn't want to see him again. Tyler was so depressed and almost committing suicide. Luckily, his cell group's fellows kept supporting him and praying for him. He was well-encouraged and he let Jesus fix his heart. Eventually, he became a cell group leader and his family could know Jesus.
Maybe, now, you are having a heavy burden in your life. Have you ever wondered that what makes you stress out and depressed is NOT the problems but the WAY you choose to face them? There are only two things that will happen. The first is shutting yourself off the world and trying to fix your problems by yourself. Instead of helping you, doing these will bring you to deeper misery. Try this one, the second, engaging yourself more with the people out there. Why? Because you may meet people who have ever experienced the same like you do and they could give you the solution! In making friends or engaging with a community, choose people who are in Christ. You can join a cell group. When you see your cell group's fellow is depressed and pull himself away from the community, it is your responsibility to bring him back; it can save him. Never let any member of the church not join cell group. Stay in it. When we are in the fellowship of the flock of God, we will get the extra power to live a victorious living.
