Psalm 92: 1-16
TODAY'S RHEMA
Psalm 92:6-7 "Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand, that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever."
Do you know a fisherman who was turned into a fisher of men and a shepherd who was turned into a great king over Israel? Yes, they are Peter and David. Two great figures whose life inspired many people, even until now. At the beginning, Peter was only a fisherman but his first meeting with Lord Jesus had changed him completely. Previously, he might be only having a simple dream by becoming a successful fisherman or feeling enough to provide for his family needs. Turned out, God's will made him an apostle who was used by God amazingly and it was because the grace of the Lord changed him into the fisher of men to save the lost. The same thing happened to David. Maybe his plan was simply becoming a shepherd, but God raised his capacity from only a shepherd to become the King who ruled over Israel.
The changing in the life of Peter and David happened when they were spiritually matured. They had a close relationship with God and also had sharp spiritual eyes to see something great in the future through faith.
We may currently have been struggling to reach our dreams and fulfill our plans. We prefer to go with our own ways rather than God's plan; we are trying to pursue wealth, position, education and other worldly things
We might think that to live for God, to be a blessing to others and to live serving people are like a loss or might even be too troublesome. Most of us don't realize that God's plan is much bigger, better, greater and surpassing all things. Learn to see further, seek the will of God over our lives and be spiritually mature which is indicated by having an intimate relationship with the Lord. When we do so, He will eventually open our eyes so that we could see the amazing work of God. He will also open an understanding for us to see God's plan is way better than ours.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, It requires SPIRITUAL MATURITY and OPEN SPIRITUAL EYES to be able to see that GOD'S PLAN IS WAY BETTER than our plan.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Abba Father, please open my spiritual eyes that I am able to see Your great plans which way better and greater than mine. Teach me to grow in You and to have the spiritual maturity to have an intimate relationship with You. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
