TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Romans 6:1-23
TODAY'S RHEMA Romans 6:13 "Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness."
Here is a story about a woman who had a dark past. She experienced five failed marriages and she lived with a man who wasn't her husband. People made her as a gossip center. She would wait until it was quiet and no one around to draw water from the well nearby or to do any other things in her daily routine. Could you guess who this woman might be? Yes, she is the Samaritan woman written in the book of John. Her life seems to be meaningless. There is nothing good out of her that could be a blessing to others. However, the encounter with Jesus brought a great change into her life. Jesus offered restoration and she openly received it. Soon after that, the Samaritan woman went home and started to tell people about what she had encountered. There was a great joy among the people in her town who had heard the news. It was recorded in the Bible that Jesus had stayed there for two more days serving people. It's amazing! We may say that she was a sinful woman who gave herself to the world. When there's a willing heart to be changed and used by God, there will be a change, not only a self-change but also a change in the society as well. The living water she received from Jesus had changed her surrounding. That is joy bursting from a repented heart.
Just like what had happened to the Samaritan woman, you can also experience the same thing. Only one thing you need to do: ask for strength from God to use your life for His glory. Let God use your life as His instrument which brings the change for your surrounding. You must believe that you will see and experience a great joy filling your heart because there is a spring of water flowing up in your heart. Step forward and be a blessing.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, to be used by God as a 'WORLD CHANGER' who brings positive change everywhere is THE GREATEST JOY.

Is there any aspect of your life that you still do for your own matter?
What thought that makes you still do it for yourself? Search for the Word of God about it and take every captive to obey the truth of the God's Word you have found.
TODAY'S PRAYER "Lord Jesus, this is my body, soul, and spirit. You can use them according to Your will so my life brings a change for my surrounding. In the name of Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen."
