TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Galatians 1:1-16
TODAY'S RHEMA Galatians 1:15 "But when God, who set me apart from my mother's womb and called me by his grace, was pleased"
Once upon a time, a famous piano maestro held a show in a small town. Before the curtain was lifted up, a small kid was walking at the edge of the stage and he was so excited to see the black piano located in the center of the stage. He excitedly ran toward the piano, sat in the chair, put his fingers on the keyboards and started to make an irregular noise. The stage operator who thought that the sound was part of the show put the lamp focus on him. The host of the show became panic and rushed to the stage because of this unpredicted event. But, unexpectedly, the maestro forbade him to interfere and calmly stepped toward the other piano which located at the other side of the stage, started to play his own melodies, and tried to catch up with those irregular notes played by the little boy. The maestro was able to combine his own notes and the little boy's notes to create a beautiful song. Sound of applause from the audience filled the air with such admiration and they stood on their feet in appreciation. The little boy heard the applause of the audiences, he then suddenly stopped playing, smiled proudly, thought that all the compliments were meant for him. He just did not realize, that all the admiration of the audience was meant for the maestro, who perfected his irregular note he played.
Don't you realize, that sometimes we all tend to imitate the mistake of that child who does not want to acknowledge the work of Our Great Maestro who resides in heaven? Whatever we do, even if we perform well, do not happen just because of our own strength or wisdom, but because of His love and grace. God who gives us opportunities. He is the One who opens doors. He is the One who bless us with His amazing grace until we can do a lot of great things. For you who often feel that you do not deserve to do meaningful things, do not lose your confidence. You can be used by God when you believe and open your heart. And for you who are used by God to do great things, always remember that The Great Maestro deserves the glory and honor for all things you do because He always makes perfect whatever you do.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, truly, if we are CHOSEN AND USED BY GOD to change the world, it is all because of GOD'S GRACE.
