TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Romans 5:1-11
TODAY'S RHEMA Romans 5:3-5 "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."
Rafting is a quite extreme sport where we are exploring the raging river stream by using a canoe. For most people, rafting is considered as a terrifying and weird activity. But for those who love challenges, rafting is a fun and exciting sport. The journey towards the location is not easy; there will be raging streams they are going to pass through. However, the satisfaction and happiness could be felt more when they had successfully passed the streams along the river. To explore the river and pass through the journey requires strong determination, excitement, belief, and strength. The final destination where the rowers and the rafters about to reach is the finish line. But beyond that, they received unforgettable experiences during the exploring time, and mostly, the part where they had to pass through the streams and successfully through them.
In this life, we are not only passing through the good things. Sometimes God allows us to experience problems, trial, hardship and powerlessness moment and through those phases in life, our faith is tested. How do we respond them in our life determines the quality of our life? Keep on believing that God has amazing plans for us by allowing bad things happen in our life.
No matter how hard the process you have passed through, learn to understand the point of God behind. Then not only fulfillment of God's plan you are about to receive, but the values which worth more glorious and precious also will be received. Don't be confused and worried, moreover, learn to understand God's amazing purpose behind the process! Remember that during the process, GOD IS PREPARING GREATER BLESSING which is MORE THAN JUST VICTORY AND ANSWERED PRAYER. GOD is KNITTING A CHARACTER AND BEAUTIFUL VALUE OF FAITH in your life.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, beyond the PROCESS OF OUR FAITH JOURNEY, there is GREATER blessing than just the victory and the answered prayers.
