TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL

We will never be able to guess what God has in store for our lives. This case happened to the life of John and Reve Walsh. In 1981, when Reve was shopping in a big mall, their son, Adam, was kidnapped. Sixteen days later, the child was found dead. In their misery, the Walsh's invented a special organization to handle child exploitation and kidnapping. The organization did some campaigns regularly and had made significant changes in the law of child crime and in getting victim's right. Before Adam's case, there were not any databases available to see lost child information in the United States. But until this article was written, the organization has helped to find more than 196,000 lost children. In 1988, John Walsh was invited to become the host of America's Most Wanted. This television program shows a review about many crime scenes and motivates their audiences to help the authority to search and to capture the criminals. During its 24 years broadcast, this show has been credible to the captures of more than 1,200 criminals, and 17 of them were the top lists of FBI most wanted. It also has done a great deed in saving many kidnapped children.
In their deepest pit, the Walsh couple found a new life direction that was very different from their own original plan. They managed to rise up again and to become a great help to many people. Right now, probably you are still chasing our dream, vision, and future plan that you have. But the question is, are all those things that you chase consistent and in harmony with the dream, vision and the plan of God? You might consider that right now is the right time to do a serious thinking, to enlarge capacity and to work for the kingdom of God, rather than wandering to satisfy your fleshly ambition, so salvation could be received by many and the name of Jesus be known to them. Allow the grace of God to work and to change your life direction, so you can think about the plan and the will of God, and we will see how the glory of God be manifested magnificently. When the power of God fills your life, we will be used by God to become world changers who bring tremendous changes in the area where God put you.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, the grace of God WILL CHANGE OUR LIFE DIRECTION from pursuing personal ambition TO PURSUING PLAN OF GOD.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Thank You for Your magnificent grace that poured out upon my life, Lord Jesus. Thank You for the grace that has changed my life direction. Teach me to have a vision, dream, and a plan coming from You. In Lord Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
