TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
James 1:2-8
TODAY'S RHEMA James 1:3-4 "because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
History shows us that human had tried to preserve foods by food smoking, food drying, food marinating until hoarding ice brought from a mountain and keeping the food inside it. However, it just changed the taste, texture, and smell. Refrigeration and freezer are the best way to preserve the food. Yet, it took such a long time for human beings to invent refrigerator. It was in 1748, Edward Cullen found a handmade refrigerator. Since that, many inventors developed Cullen's method to create a better refrigerator. They had to face a lot of difficulties and obstacles to make a hi-tech refrigerator we can use now.
Many people think that crisis is the biggest obstacle in life. They are desperate because they have to face troubles and difficulties in their life. However, people have to remember they can rely on God in desperate times. Bible shows us that God sent Moses to set Israel free from the slavery and led them to the promise land and made Joseph as a lord of all Egypt after being sold into slavery.
God will help His people when they are in troubles. He is able to provide help for us to get through the crisis. We ought to come to God when we are overwhelmed by obstacles and difficult lives. We don't have to worry about anything and just believe in God's words because His guidance and strength are around us. By doing that, we will be the witness of His power!
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, crisis is a GOD'S TOOL which takes us to THE ABUNDANCE OF HIS BLESSINGS.
