TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Philippians 4:2-9
TODAY'S RHEMA Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice. It is a sweet, chewy and so appetizing snack. Before it could be enjoyed by consumers, there is a long process to go through to make this food. It is made traditionally and uniquely. First, the glutinous rice is steamed. Second, the rice is put in the large thick mortar made of wood. Then, the rice is pounded with heavy wooden pestle until it becomes smooth. Next, the filling is put inside of it. Many use mixed brown sugar and ground nuts. The last, the mochi is covered by sesame or roasted corn starch.
Life is a long process to the finish line. To achieve hopes and dreams, we need to struggle. Oftentimes we must walk on steep path and face obstacles before us. For you who are currently in the problems and struggles, be patient. When you fail, do not quickly get disappointed, give up or even stop trying. For God, there always be second chance, and so is hope for our lives. Even though we may many times fail, but our God can turn our failure into success. And not only that. He is still providing miracles and wonder which might come unexpectedly in our lives. It is amazing, isn't it?
God is the source of our hope, no matter what we are facing now. Keep on praying. Come to His altar and tell Him. If the answers haven't come yet, it means there is something that God still need to do with your life. Remember that the long process will produce high-quality product. God is in the process of knitting His mighty work for our lives and later we will see the rainbow of His love upon us.
