TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalms 37:22-40
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalms 37:23-24 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand."
A born-again businessman gave a testimony at church. Before he was very successful and his name was known in the entertainment world in one of the main cities in Indonesia. He was a sound speaker producer and supplied for entertainment sites in that city. He also rented lighting and sound systems for various events. After he was born again, he went bankrupt and had to sell his assets to pay off his debts.
In the midst of his fall, he did not leave God. Instead, he searched God more fervently. He always prayed for God's guidance, and he finally received an answer. God told him to open up another business, and it went great and his life was restored. He and his family even became active in the church. At the end of his testimony, he added that God had also healed him and that all he needed to do was pray, instead of taking medicine. God restored his health.
In the lives of we believers, the Devil is looking for ways to ruin aspects of our lives. However, we do not need to fear as long as we live in the guidance of our shepherd, Jesus Christ, as He will personally guide and save us. Trust that God has prepared the ways of those who walk in His guidance like the businessman that never ceased to obey God even in poverty. Although he fell, it is never beyond God's capability. Although he lost his wealth, but not his hope. When we walk in His guidance, He will heal our lives.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, When you WALK in THE POWER OF HIS GUIDANCE, GOD HIMSELF will SAVE you from danger.
APPLICATIONS 1. Whose guidance have you been following so far? 2. Have you ever escaped danger? Name them and reflect on how God helped you through it. 3. How can you live under God's guidance?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Good father, thank You for Your guidance in my life. I ask that You continue to lead my life, so that I may be free from the dangers that lie in my way. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
