God's guidance is not exclusive to a certain group of people. We might feel down when seeing the life of other's in God's guidance when our life is stagnant, and maybe getting worse. However, this we have to know, that Jesus came to the world not just for a specific group of people. No matter who we are or how society perceives us, we are all precious in God's sight. Through His birth into this world, God not only fulfilled His promise for salvation but also His guidance for every one of us.
Notice how God names Himself through the prophecy of Isaiah the prophet (Isaiah 7:14), or the message the Angel of God brought to Joseph- Emmanuel; in His name, there is the promise that He is God and that He is with us. Yes, God's work never stops only at our salvation, but He also longs to guide us all the days of our lives. He cares deeply about every aspect of our lives.
Therefore, we can be sure that God will never leave us nor forsake us. Not just in certain moments, but He wants to guide us at all times. When we stand confused at a crossroad, He is there to guide us in the path of righteousness for His names' sake. When it seems that all doors are slammed shut, He will guide us to a door He has prepared for us. When we face the storms and trials of life, He himself will guide us into victory. As long as we surrender completely to Him and acknowledge him in all our ways, He will bring us into His wonderful grace. God will never let go of our hand until His will is done in our lives.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Whoever you are, GOD WANTS and is ALWAYS READY to guide you AT ALL TIMES, for He is EMMANUEL.
