TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Isaiah 54:1-8
TODAY'S RHEMA Isaiah 54:2 "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes."
If you have ever been a member of the scout in school, you would have been taught how to put a tent up. Do you know that there is an interrelation between the tent, the tent rope, and the tent pegs? Let say we have a big tent and small field, the tent wouldn't stretch perfectly. On the contrary, if there is a large field for the tent but the pegs can't hold strongly, the tent will not last long either.
In the same vain, the promises of God are likened to a huge tent. If we don't have great faith, the promises of God for our lives can't stretch to its maximum size. Therefore we have to enlarge the capacity of our heart for the promises of God to manifest in our lives. Right now, we might be facing some circumstances whatever it might be; a prolonged sickness that we need healing for, indebtedness or other unpleasant circumstances. What we speak in our mind and mouth will bring about a change. If we speak healing over our sick body, if we speak the truth of God's Word over our debt, we will eventually be taken out of our circumstances. In contrast, if we speak over and over about our circumstances and shortcomings, we will never be out of the circumstances. Our tent will always be the same. Only when we enlarge the capacity of our heart will something happen as we speak of daily. (Matthew 9:29).
As we stretch and open up our heart to receive more, the next thing we need to do is to stretch our tent and stalling the rope of our tent as long as it gets. Because faith will be useless if we keep it just in the heart. To believe in God's promises isn't enough, we have to act on it. To have a brave heart is to walk in faith (James 2:17). When the pegs of our "tent" are strongly established and the tent stands perfectly, in the end, the tent will be able to accommodate the great harvest God has in store for us.

APPLICATIONS 1. Is the field of your heart large enough for a great harvest from God? 2. Why do you have to dare to live great to be able to accommodate great harvest from God? 3. How can you prepare to live great in 2018? Write it down!
TODAY'S PRAYER "Jesus, thank you for the great harvest You have prepared for me. Help me to prepare my heart and life to contain all of it. Bless me to be a channel of Your blessings. Thank you Jesus. Amen."
