Following Divine Guidance Keluarga Allah Daily Devotional January 05, 2018
TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalm 20:1-10
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 20:6 "Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand."
To walk in God's guidance is not as easy as saying it. The road He chooses for us is not always smooth. He might bring us to go through valley or hills. Sometimes we do not know where He is about to bring us. It is like hiking a mountain without knowing the route. King David once felt the same. He once did not know God's will, but then he could later say "Now I know…" He trusted in God and dared to follow God's guidance so that he won many battles. Also in the Christmas story, we may also find the divine guidance. For example, Mary and Joseph followed God's instructions even though it was risky to become God's vessel to give birth to the Messiah. The same thing with the Magi. They followed God's sign and they eventually found baby Jesus.
We also need God to guide our steps. Even though the road looks hard and rough, it may seem too far, but we need to trust in God a hundred percent. He is the Leader and He knows the way to the top. If we insist to choose the road by ourselves, we risk missing the way and getting lost.
Believe that those who give themselves to be led by the Holy Spirit will receive the anointing to overcome. The power of God will flow in their lives. So no matter how hard or how impossible it is, God will grant them victory. Stand firm. Because God never fails and is never wrong, for His way is perfect and He is so reliable.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, God will GIVE VICTORY to those who FOLLOW HIS GUIDANCE.
