TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Amos 9:11-15
TODAY'S RHEMA Amos 9:13 "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when the reaper will be overtaken by the ploughman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills."
The year 2018 is 25 days gone already, and through the month, we have learned about God's promise of great harvests. Do you believe this promise and have you keyed into it? Or are you still beclouded with fear and uncertainties from last year, that your steps are all the heavier? Do realize that the great harvest is not just merely a sermon theme, but it is what God has in His heart for us. However, to reap God's blessings, you have to be in the right field.
Like when Boaz told Ruth "My daughter, listen to me. Don't go and glean in another field and don't go away from here. Stay here with the women who work for me(Ruth 2:8)," God is also saying the same thing to us. The field describes the plan God is plotting for us. Whilst the barley resembles the blessing of the Word of God. His Word will guide us in each step until we reach the right destination at the right time. Therefore, stay in God's field and don't find your solutions elsewhere.
Be like Ruth. She knew how priceless that barleywas, and she was focused on collecting every single grain. Whenever she saw a grain of barley, there she was, picking it up. When you are focused on every word and put it into practice, do not be surprised when God leads you into a big leap. God will lead you to victories and favors. Believe that God will not leave you in desperation and failures, there will be a time when He will unleash upon your live, massive and great harvests.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, GOD will UNLEASH BLESSINGS upon you, such that EACH OF OUR STEP is a STEP OF MIRACLES AND VICTORY.
APPLICATIONS 1. Have you picked up the barley in God's field (the Word) with enthusiasm and obedience? 2. Why do you think God dropped grains of barley for you? 3. How should you respond to every single grain of barley that falls?
TODAY'S PRAYER "Father, thank You for your blessings, steps of miracles and victories that You have set for me. Guide me, that I may abide in Your plan, Your field, and Your presence, that I may truly experience the Great Harvest that You promised. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen."
