TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Isaiah 48:12-19
TODAY'S RHEMA Isaiah 48:17 "Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go."
To follow the guidance of the Lord is the greatest grace that He could give to us, His children. However, it might become a challenging for us when we are standing at an intersection and having to choose God's way. Then we may hope, if God shows us the map of our lives that we shall always choose the right way, according to His guidance. But, He doesn't operate that way most times.
The same thing when God gave the Magi news about the newborn King. He didn't give them a map to follow or a specific way to find Bethlehem. They also didn't know where baby Jesus was laid down, but God gave a sign in the sky, through a star. The journey of course took time. They had to wait the night to come that they might see the star.
God longs for us to have a similar attitude of heart, to always focus on God and His guidance. We cannot just pray once and ignore everything He shows us. Connect yourself every second to God through prayer, worship, the Word, and quiet time. When we are waiting for Him like this, our lives will attract His favor into our lives. We do not need the map of life for God Himself who will walk with us. When He is walking together with us, He is also sharing His plan for our lives. At the end, we will have a life full of His guidance.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, THE KEY to living IN DIVINE GUIDANCE is TO WAIT ON HIM.
