The Harvest God Uses To Change Your Life Keluarga Allah Daily Devotional January 22, 2018
TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Galatians 6:1-10
TODAY'S RHEMA Galatians 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
In the morning, a man who lived alone exited his flat. Just a few steps to the bus stop, water running from the roof of his neighbor's housesplashed on his clothes. He then shifted a potted plant to the running water. Next, he saw a woman with her cart stuck on the sidewalk. He also helped to lift and push the cart. When he bought meatballs sate, a dog was staring at him in a beggarly manner, so he handed the meatballs to it. While crossing the street, he saw a homeless mother with a little girl kneeling in front of a cardboard that reads "Need money for school". He picked up his wallet and handed all the money to the girl. On the bus when he came home from work, he offered his seat to the woman standing in front of him.
Every day, he tirelessly repeated those good acts. In just no time, his life was full of color. The potted flower that withered in the pot became fresh and blooming beautifully. Now, the woman whose cartwas stuck in the sidewalk always greeted him. The dog he fed became his pet. The homeless child who is now able to go to school often saw him in his uniform and carried his books, always smiling broadly at him. A woman he met on the bus now became his close friend. He never felt alone again.
Know that the law of sowing and reaping has never failed. The desire to have a changed-life is not only ours, but God's also. He wants us to have the best quality of life, not an ordinary one. If we are not tired of doing good to anyone, sincerely, and faithfully, all good will come into our lives. God will give us a great harvest that can change our lives that we will stand in awe of the work of God in our lives.
