TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL 1 Chronicles 4: 9-10
TODAY'S RHEMA 1 Chronicles 4:10 "Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request."
The name of Jabez means "pain". His mother gave that name because she bore him in pain. Someone's name is believed to impact on his/her daily life. However, the Bible writes clearly that Jabez was blessed abundantly, he was even more honorable than his brothers. It wasn't a coincidence. There's an inspiring story behind Jabez's success. He didn't want to live small and was tired of misfortune all his life. He came to God, the Right One, who's able to transform his life. By the power of God, Jabez experienced a turnaround. Though he caused problems for the people around before, God blessed him abundantly and he became a blessing to many.
There's a famous saying "being born in poverty isn't your fault but to die in it is your fault." It means that our past doesn't determine our future. Our future is determined by our effort. As the children of God, our future is determined by our relationship with God and at the same time, we fight for what we want to achieve. Like what Jabez did, when we have the courage to step forward and reach great things, we will succeed with the help of God.
If we used to think that we can't do much because of our past, flaws, weakness and negative labels in our lives, it's time to transform our mindset. Have great visions, think out of the box. Do not focus on your flaw and weakness because our God is limitless and powerful. Do your part wholeheartedly, build intimacy with God, rely on God for every step, do not give up and never stop praying. God will hear and grant the desires of your heart. This is the year of great harvest! Amen.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Don't let your WEAKNESS limit THE WORK OF GOD in your future, don't settle for LESS and start LIVING GREAT.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Father, I won't limit Your work with my limitations. From now on, I want to enlarge my life and prepare it to experience the great harvest from You. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
