In the beginning, Paul wasn't anyone significant in Christ. He wasn't an apostle nor the follower of Jesus. However, in the end of his life, he was known as the most influential person in the history of Christianity around the world. Through his ministry, countless souls were saved. How did Paul become someone so influential? How did he win countless souls to Christ? The answer is not far-fetched; it is because Paul had a great vision. Paul understood well that the calling of God upon his life wasn't an ordinary calling. He knew that his calling wasn't only to certain church, nor community, but to save nations.
Yes! Paul understood his vision & ministry well. When he fulfilled the vision God had a place in his life, he received the prize which is an incorruptible crown and eternity in heaven. For this reason, Paul only focused on his great vision without being bothered about his old life nor intimidated by his past. He knew God as the One who gave him the vision. He pursued the vision despite the challenges and hardship he had to face considering the prize worth more than the challenges and hardships.
Paul realized that God had given the great vision, thus he could harvest a large number of souls. We have to do the same thing as Paul did. Our God is great and so are His visions. Don't be easily satisfied with your current life. Work with God for greater things, for great harvest that can only be done with God. We will live great in our Great God.
