TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalm 107:1-22
TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 107:1"Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever."
Surely almost everyone is already familiar in accessing applications on our smartphone. To access and use an application, we need the correct password. This password gives us "permission" to access all provided services and facilities, thus it helps our daily activity. Otherwise, if we input the wrong password, we will not have the access to them.
Thankfully, King David had taught us that the password to enter God's gate which is Thanksgiving (Psalm 100:4). By giving thanks, we have a key to enter His Tabernacle and access His power and miracle in our lives. For every God's kindness, give thanks. Every time, He hears our prayers and gives us a miracle, gives thanks and shouts "Thank You Lord for You are wonderful." Even, in the midst of bad circumstances, still, give thanks, tell Him "Thank You, God, for You are my kind Father, Your plan is good and You work in all things for good, thank you, Lord!"
Know that God is not slacking concerning our lives, as what written in Psalm 121:4 "Behold, he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep." He knows both what we are facing and what we need. He hears our prayers and our hearts. Before raising Lazarus, Jesus also said thank You that Heavenly Father had heard Him Therefore, the time we build the David's Tent, give thanks for everything so that His heart is pleased even more. God will add to our lacking and God will rise what has been dead in our lives! REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, Come to God with a heart overflowed with THANKSGIVING. APPLICATIONS 1. Have you realized about every assistance and protection of God on your life today? Mention! 2. Why do you need to come with an overflowing thanksgiving to God? 3. What makes you showing Him your praises and thanksgiving that please His heart? TODAY'S PRAYER "Dear God, enable me to understand Your hand in every detail that I'm passing today, whether small or big. Teach me to always be thankful so that I'm able to access Your tabernacle which gives power and victory for every problem in my life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
