TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL 1 Tawarikh 16:1-6 TODAY'S RHEMA 1 Chronicles 16:4 He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, to extol, thank, and praise the LORD, the God of Israel:
An aged woman came to church with a burdened heart. She had to pay for her son's school fee which already been overdue. However, she didn't have the money for it yet. When the Worship Leader invited everyone to praise God with all their heart, soul and strength, and said, "Have faith, miracles will come to your life when you praise God with all your heart!" Those words awakened her faith. She put aside all the burden and began to focus on praising God. She raised her hand with all of her heart, praised, worshiped, danced, jumped, even fell face down before God.
In the afternoon, this aged woman received a short message from her old high school friend she hadn't met for a long time. Her high school friend lived in another city and happens to be having a project in the city where she lived. Long story short, she was invited to meet her and out of the blue, she was informed that her best friend wired her some amount of money to bless her as a way of her thanksgiving to God because she managed to win a tender with a very large amount of money. Yes, God's help is never too late and it is always miraculous for those who believe and rely on Him.
The sign that we believe in God is when we dare to let go, all the burdens of problems and praise God with all our strength because we believe that God will not leave nor forsake us. When we are burdened with a heavy problem, but we still choose to rejoice before God as we praise and worship Him that's the worship and praise that touches God's heart. When that happens, nothing that He won't do for us. In that saying, when we are burdened with heavy problems but still choose to worship Him with all of heart and mind and strength, putting aside the burden we have, God will provide us with a way out. That is why, let us always come to God, with the best worship and praise that we can do, so that God's heart is pleased. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, What catches God's attention is THE SPECIAL, THE BEST, and EXTRAORDINARY praise and worship. APPLICATIONS 1. What is your current attitude in praising and worshiping God? 2. In your opinion, why do you need to praise and worship God with all your body, soul, spirit and strength? 3. What commitment will you make so you can offer worship and praise that catches God's attention? TODAY'S PRAYER "Dear God, I am grateful for having, a God full of power and glory like You. Let every time I come to you, I come with my best praise and worship before your throne. Let your heart be pleased with the praise of our worship. Thank God. In the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen"
