TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL 1 Chronicles 15:11-28 TODAY'S RHEMA 1 Chronicles 15:28 So all Israel was brought up by the covenant of the Lord with shouting, to the sound of the horn, trumpets, and cymbals, and made loud music on harps and lyres.
We all must have known King David. He is a worshiper who is really pleasing to God's heart. Even since his youth, he has been known as a worshiper. When the demon was on Saul and he asked all the courtiers to search for a harpist, one of the courtiers recommended David (1 Sam. 16:17-18). If David is not famous for God worshiper, it is impossible for someone to recommend him. Especially, for Saul who was a King on that era. Because he delighted on worshiping God, finally Saul likes him (1 Sam. 16:23).
Moreover, when David has been anointed and appointed to be king, he still loved to worship God. It was said that David worshiped God seven times a day. As we know, almost all parts of Psalms were written by David were about thanksgiving and praises to God. No wonder if God really pleased with David because of his heart attitude that loves to praise and worship God and he was blessed abundantly to the extent of God promised him that David's descendant will sit on the throne of Israel.
David's tent is not talking about a ritual that made by the church. More than this, David's tent is talking about our worship life to God. We do all know that God is enthroned in worship. When we have the right attitude of a heart in worshipping God, God will be delighted. Same like God who was pleased by David's worship, let us raise our praise and thanksgiving to God so the David's tent will truly rebuild in our life.
