TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Ephesians 3:1-13 TODAY'S RHEMA Ephesians 3:18 may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
Roy and Ela's first meeting took place at school. At that time there was no special feeling between the two. However, without them realizing it, their togetherness fostered a mutual feeling of admiration, love, and a desire to see each other when apart.
That feeling is what God desires of His lovers. Can God find such a feeling in our hearts? A heart that is vibrant every time, especially when having intimate fellowship with Him. Like when God saw David's heart, he won God's favor (Acts 13: 22b). A heart full of love and passion, which always longs to be in His temple rather than a thousand days elsewhere. A heart that cannot bear to see the house of God in disarray.
Today, He desires an increase in the number of His end-time church to rebuild David's tent which has been abandoned (Acts 15:16). God does not want to build David's tent to gather talented and gifted people. What He desires are worshipers who are full of love, and wanting to have depth with Him like David. A relationship that lasts and is timeless. If we want to have such a relationship with God, the secret is to start building that relationship. Meditate on the word of God day and night (Psalm 1: 1-3). The more we meditate on His word, the deeper we will understand Him, His love, and His power. We will increasingly understand and know who Jesus is. We will also engage in intimate worship with and of Him. Such recognition will birth genuine praise and admiration, borne out of a heart that is fascinated by His greatness. This is what is called worshiping in truth. REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, The deeper your UNDERSTANDING of God, the deeper YOUR DEVOTION will be to Him. APPLICATIONS 1. In your opinion, do you have a deep understanding of God? 2. Have you made the Word of God your favorite and priority need for life? 3. Are you building an intimate relationship through personal worship and attending David's Tent prayer meeting in a church? TODAY'S PRAYER "My dear Father, thank you for David's Tent that You have provided for me. Take me into the knowledge of You more, so that I have depth and hearts that worship like David, who worshiped in truth. In the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen. "
