TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Psalm 145: 1-21 TODAY'S RHEMA Psalm 145:1 I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
When you just come out of the theater, you discover your mind is still saturated with the things you saw in the movie. They can be horror, a sad story, action-packed or comedy. What we think and feel has a direct connection with what we see. In our daily life, if we keep focusing on our weaknesses and failures, we will drown in failure and despair. That is why the world's wisdom teaches us to empty our mind to have peace. On the contrary, Apostle Paul taught us to fill our mind with the righteous things: whatever things are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).
It is true, we're not able to root out negative thoughts with our own strength. A new thought is needed to replace the old one. Each of us needs divine truth to replace the enemy's lies which clouds our hearts. We can only get it by focusing on righteous things. Then, we are able to think and believe properly.
Two Cherubims were placed on the ark of the covenant, facing one another and their faces face toward the mercy seat. These Cherubim are divine creatures who always praise and worship God. It reminds us to always set our eyes on God and fill our minds with the glory, honor, and His perfect salvation over our sins. In David's Tent, lift up your praise and worship to God. Give glory to His name. Start to imagine in your mind that you healthier, successful in career, family, blessed in service etc. Declare God's glory fills your lives, church, family, city, and nation. Believe, God's visitation will surely happen! REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, As the TWO CHERUBIM on THE ARK OF THE COVENANT, EXTOL your praises for God and DECLARE His glory FILLS YOU. APPLICATIONS 1. Why do you need to extol God and declare His glory? 2. Have you been thankful and lifted your praise and worship to the glorious and honorable God? 3. In what way will you declare His glory to fill up every aspect of your life? TODAY'S PRAYER "Heavenly Father, I'm thankful for Your grace that redeemed me from my sins and transgressions. By the power of Your blood, I am called righteous. Help me to focus on Jesus Christ in every service of David's Tent because I know it's the source of my strength. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
