The atmosphere during the Sunday worship service was different. The seats were all taken and congregants were really enthusiastic about the sermon. The shouts of 'amen' could be heard loud and clear as the preaching proceeded. A closer look revealed that the preacher was a famous minister cum motivational speaker in town who was visiting the church. In the sermon, he explained how the church and every servant of God can develop, as well as how the congregation can be greatly used by God. After the preacher left, the servants of God and the congregation continued life just, as usual, only Milea and some friends dared to take practical steps about what they had heard. After some years, Milea gradually began to be known with her healing gift as she was invited to many churches. Her friends' ministries also became a blessing for many people too.
Every one of us must have the same desire for our church to grow, be greatly used of God, and be a blessing to many. But, are we obeying the word like Milea and her friends? When we get a Rhema, it is just the very first step. If we want the miracle to be manifested, we have to be word doers. God commands us to be doers of His word and not mere listeners.
More than ever before, our Senior Pastor, Ps. Obaja Tanto Setiawan is motivating all the congregation and servants of God to be active in building 'David's Tent'. This is the Rhema from God through him as our leader. How do we respond to this movement, just by saying amen or by obeying it? If we do really want massive breakthroughs from God in our lives, obey this Rhema right away. Be committed to being at the forefront in building David's Tent. Don't wait or point at someone else. Just believe that when you commit to building David's Tent, you will watch and experience God's mighty visitation.
