Psalms 119:1-176
TODAY'S RHEMA
Psalms 119:105 "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."
One day, devil faced God and said, "God, human is unfair. Why am I always blamed for the miseries which befallen upon them?" And God answered, "Don't you always say oppositely with the truth to My children?" and the devil said again, "Yes, I will always keep trying to ruin Your children. I will always spread the poison of lies that You are evil by letting them under pressure of being processed in the character building. When they are sick, I will always make them focus on the pain than in remembering the power of Your wounds. I like it when they think of themselves living under the curse. I like them feel intimidated by their own mistakes than remembering Your words about mercy. I like it when they experience bitterness, ruin their self-image and not entering into Your blessing which you have provided for them." And the devil indignantly continued his words "But all the miseries they have are not always my fault, right? I just influence them and they go with it so you are supposed to blame them too since it's also their fault."
The illustration above reminds us that life is all about a choice. To whom we prefer to believe then it will truly happen. David, the King also experienced it. When he was a little boy, David always excluded by his own family. Even his father ignored him when Samuel came. He was supposed to be a rejected person and experienced bitterness. Amazingly, David preferred to believe in God's mindset about him even he could say "As Father loves son, so the Lord loves me" David fought against the reality of his life with the truth of God and He won!
David's story is one of the examples; there are so many aspects in your life where you are faced with the choices like David where you prefer to follow your intuition and your logical thinking or you prefer to hold what God said in your current situation. God wants you to win so choose to believe what He said. Don't let devil trick you and separate you from the divine perfect truth. Hallelujah!
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, The HOLY BIBLE is God's THOUGHT and master plan of our lives.
APPLICATION
Write as much as you can the truth of God that you know about the situations you are currently facing while crosschecking with yourself, which part of your thoughts that still oppositely against the words of God!
Stick up the verses you have found on the place that you frequently see and read as often as you can so your faith will be encouraged even more!
TODAY'S PRAYER "God, thanks for all Your beautiful and perfect plan in my life. Teach me to live it up so only Your truth happens in my life. I surrender all my feelings and thoughts into Your hands. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
