TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL Romans 4:1-25
TODAY'S RHEMA
Romans 4:17 "As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed- the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not."
When it comes to talking about faith we could possibly learn a lot of things from the life journey of a great man named Abraham. Not only because he did receive the great promise of the Promised Land; a land overflowing with honey and milk, or how he received for a son, Isaac, when he was a hundred years old or how he could pass all tests regarding his faith in God, but also about how God worked in Abraham and Sarah's faithful life.
God named them Abraham and Sarah for God had made them as father and mother of many nations. At that moment, God had established a covenant that through Sarah, Abraham would have many descendants. When Abraham heard it, he laughed and could not believe it. Obviously, it was hard for him to imagine his wife and him to have a child in their old age.
However, God's reality was different from Abraham's reality. God knew what He had planned. Even, He understood Abraham and Sarah's faith. Therefore, God changed their names as a reminder for them, so that when they called each other's names, they remembered they were the father and mother of many nations. God taught them to say like God said. God wanted them to have faith revival so they could be in the same faith dimension with God.
We can learn that our words can release God's power. So, now, if you want something to happen in your life, speak the words of faith. Believe that He is the God of calling into being what does not exist.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, speak into being what doesn't exist in your life so that God's power will make it happen.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Father, I thank You for You are my Lord God. I believe that You are more than able to answer my prayers. You are able to call into being what does not exist. But, above all those things, I pray that let Your will be done in my life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen. "
