After five years in his post as a sales manager, Bob was so proud to say that he had achieved every target per quarter he had planned ahead. His area expanded throughout the state he lived in. His reputation was marvelous among his competitors. What shocked him was because his company moved him to work in another state next to where he lived in. The fellow manager worked there wasn't doing well and the business in the area wasn't growing. First Bob heard of that he thought that he was being demoted. He couldn't tolerate the news he heard. His first thought was for him to resign but soon he shook the thought off. Bob instead felt challenged. He then decided to go with the order, folded his sleeve up and started to work.
After he studied the company situation in the new area, Bob set his vision, the long and short term dream he would want to achieve. He often worked overtime in the first few months. In the last third quarter, his sales increased and exceeded the achievement he achieved in his previous area. He had transformed problems into victory. Upon his achievement, he started to motivate his subordinates who in the long run backed him in maintaining his success. The company then promoted Bob to be the vice president regional over both states; a position impossible to be achieved if he were to choose to stay in his previous area.
Before Bob set his vision and dreams in the new area he was sent to, Bob was disappointed and felt that he was gotten rid of the company, that his hard work was overlooked by the company. Only after he had set vision and dreams, his spirit was awakened, challenged and in the end, he succeeded. On top of that, what he had never thought of before, was given to him by his company which was promotion into a higher position.
So does the case with us. In times we feel like there is a dead end, nowhere to go, our effort was taken lightly by other people, awake and rise! Set vision and new dreams in your life, pump your spirit, got back to track and work even harder. God provide victory and more than that we would be given chance to be his vessel to do great things and greater wonders.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, God will use those who have dreams and vision in their life.

TODAY'S PRAYER "Thank you O Lord for today's daily devotional that I am reminded the importance of having vision and dreams in my life so that you could use me as your vessel. I want to set vision and dreams also to fight for them for the glory of your name. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
