TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Psalm 68:1-36
TODAY'S RHEMA
Psalm 68:29 "Because of your temple at Jerusalem kings will bring you gifts."
As the children of God, of course, we are longing to be used by God to glorify His name. But, when God called us, we can hardly answer God like Isaiah the prophet answer. We would most likely say, "God this is me, send them!" Our heart might be moved to take part in the ministry, but suddenly feel like we are unworthy to go ahead and there are people out there better, smarter, capable more than we do. In short, we feel like it is not place and portion. We forgot that God didn't call us because of our capability? The truth is, God is the one who will enable us but the problem is, "Are we ready to go for the calling?" One thing we have to be aware of when God call us, He isn't playing the game with us. It is not a probability, but he planned well from the beginning. Before the world came into being, He chose us for a special plan. God had carved us in the mother's womb, and of course, He implanted seeds needed to equip us to fulfill His plan and calling.
As we can read in the Bible, there are varied of stories where God chose different of people with their own unique personality to fulfill His great plan; started from the old man, cheater, spoiled child, murderer, prostitutes, widower, fisherman, and tax collector. You would probably know a man named Nick Vujicic, a man with no arm and leg. He is the evidence that God could use anybody for His cause.
Each of us has our own strengths and weaknesses. We are given with different talents and capabilities, exactly just like what He had planned. We don't have to be perfect to fulfill His calling because, through our weaknesses, His power is made perfect.

- Is there anything that God has asked you to do but you are still doubtful about it?
- In Your opinion, why does God always use ordinary people to do His great works?
- What commitment will you make to start moving to fulfill God's works?
TODAY'S PRAYER
"Thank you, Lord, today You have reminded me that whoever I am with my strength and weakness, You call me to do Your amazing plans. Please, give me Your strength to step out and fulfill Your calling in my life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
