TODAY'S FOOD FOR THE SOUL
2 Chronicles 16:1-14
TODAY'S RHEMA 2 Chronicles 16:9 "For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him."
There's an ordinary worker who has just started his career in a company. This worker always did his job well. He did all his duties with a fully committed heart. He was not only intelligent but also persistent and loyal to the company. He often worked overtime without being asked and lessened his lunch time in order to have enough time to finish his work. He gave his all to the company; his knowledge, his heart and his capability. Whatever it was, he gave his all to the work he was doing, whether it's a small or big project. Of course, he produced the much better quality of work than other workers could do.
Apparently, the manager watched him and he was very impressed. At any time, whether or not somebody was around, he still did his best. He did all the works that were given to him with a fully committed heart. "This is the person who deserves the best facilities!" said the manager. In short, he was given a motorcycle so that it would be easier for him to commute from home to workplace and vice versa. He was also given his own workroom and was chosen as the company's representative to join several trainings.
Do you think that the manager in the story above gave some facilities without any consideration? Of course not. All employers in this world know that not everybody deserves some favors; just like the employee in the story above had received. People who have a fully committed heart deserve some favors. The manager of the company, of course, didn't give the favor without calculation. He made sure that anyone who received favor from him was the one who really worked hard for the company and his heart set for the company.
Likewise, God has provided power, anointing, miracle and incredible signs to be given to those who work with the fully committed heart for His glory. God won't give them all without any consideration. Make sure that you are the right person to receive His power.
REFLECTION Saudara Terkasih, God is searching people who have A FULLY COMMITTED HEART to Him.
